When people are buying and/or selling a house they quite often need help when it comes to staging, decorating or organizing. I try offer help by making available either very discounted or free services to make their lives a little less painful and easier as they go through what can be a daunting, yet fun and fullfilling experience. 

Let's start with STAGING.  I am an ASP (Accredited Staging Professional) Realtor, which is a select group of Realtors who have gone through two days of extensive staging training done by StagedHomes.com. But in addition to what I have to offer my sellers because of my staging training I also offer the services of a professional stager at either a deep discount off the normal rate or for FREE, depending on the commission that a seller agrees to pay. Here is a list of the services that you could get from either the stager I use, depending on the commission you pay.

 

  • A 2-3 hour on-site consultation with of the two professional stagers that I use. The stager will walk through the home with the sellers giving suggestions about what should be done to turn a home into a product that someone else wants to buy at your price.
  • A written report with before photos giving detailed suggestions about every room regarding furniture and accessories.
  • After staging has been completed a second visit will be made just before the home is listed in the Triangle Multiple Listing Service to "fine tune" the home. Photos will be taken.
  • Those photos will be placed on the www.StagedHomes.com website if the stager is affiliated with StagedHomes.com .
  • If the seller needs additional staging advice and/or assistance with moving furniture and doing the actual staging then these services will be paid for by the seller, but at a discounted rate made available to my clients.

The two staging companies that I use are  DREME Home Staging and Interior Concepts.

 If you are like me you could use a little help with organizing from time to time. This is especially true when it comes to buyers and sellers because you face the daunting task of deciding what stays and what goes when you get ready to put your house on the market or, if you are the buyer, when you are getting ready to move into your new home.

 

So what I do that the great majority of Realtors don't do is I offer to provide a professional Organizer for a 1 hour consultation at your existing home (seller) or new home (buyer) for FREE. Sally Cox Nelson of Free Spaces will tell you how to save space, time and effort by becoming more organized. Whether you have a home office that is drowing in papers and other stuff or you need help being able to see the bottom of your closet Sally will help. If you want to have her expertise after the 1 hour you can hire her at a very fair rate to spend as much time as you want.

 In addition to offering a Stager and a professional Organizer I offer all of my buyer clients a FREE 1 hour consultation with one of two Interior Decorators that I work with. This consultation will help a new buyer prepare for the move into their new home or can be used after the buyer is in the home. Any consultation after the 1 hour is paid for by the buyer.
